1965 Cobra Daytona Coupe

This car was built by Factory Five Racing to be as near to the actual original Daytona coupes built by Shelby in 1965, to race at Lemans as possible. This car was built in late 2002 for Team C Racing in Connecticut for it to use in vintage racing. It is powered by a race prepared 5.0 litre V8 engine and has been bored & stroked to produce over 500hp with a comp cams Hydrallic roller cam and Inglese Weber carbs and aluminum intake and Tremec 3350 5 spd trans. It also had the original style exhaust header side pipes, roll cage, racing seats with Simpson belts, Hallibrand aluminum knock off looking wheels, modern BFG RWL radial tires, IRS rear end from T-bird super coupe 3:73 gears, FFR suspension with coil over shocks and much more. The car is the beautiful color combo of Daytona Blue with Black racing seats and White racing stripes and is a light weight, fun, very fast low milage Cobra Daytona coupe like they were new back in the mid sixties.
